On Thursday, May 1, New Orleans own hip-hop duo & social media darlings SaxKixAve join New Orleans alternative rockers The Bottoms for a night of 90s throwback magic at The Rabbit Hole, one of New Orleans' hottest clubs for live music and deep grooves.

It's all happening on the second Thursday night of Jazz Fest, and you can expect high energy throwback jams, special guests, and fun collabs.

With over 80,000 followers on Instagram, SaxKixAve is is a multi-instrumental hip-hop adventure featuring the dynamic duo of Albert Allenback, longtime former member of Tank and the Bangas, and leading contemporary rapper Alfred Banks.

Nola alt/indie-rock darlings The Bottoms recently released a new single & music video for "One In A Million", and its members include lead singer/guitarist Jason Rhein of Rotary Downs and keyboardist/vocalist Michael Girardot of The Revivalists. They'll be joined by Kelcy Wilburn of Ever More Nest and lead guitarist Christos Melios.

Also on deck: DJ Flamingeaux, spinning a special 90s remix-themed set to keep the vibe alive between sets and on into the night for a full-scale psychedelic dance party!

“This is more than a show—it’s a time capsule with a heartbeat,” says Bottoms’ drummer Eric Nelson. “We’re throwing it back to the era of boomboxes, baggy jeans, and beats that still bang. Come ready to sweat.”

Expect nods to Weezer, Tribe Called Quest, The Pixies and your favorite 90s dancefloor classics... with the unique twist only New Orleans musicians can deliver.
